Midway Lays Off Corporate Staff, CEO
The demolition of Middle continues as all 60 employees at the company's material headquarters in Chicago have been given layoff notices, including CEO Matt Booty.
Halfway has given a 60-day layoff notice to employees at its material office, which is being fold in the wake of the company's attainment by Charles Dudley Warner Bros. Reciprocal Entertainment. All of Battle of Midway's incarnate employees are being cut, including Chief executive officer Flatness Pillage, who just a few days ago went to the U.K. to pull the plug on Battle of Midway's Newcastle-upon-Tyne studio, which also drop victim to the Warner takeover.
Central is continuing the seek a buyer for its San Diego studio, developer of the TNA Wrestling videogames, which, like Midway Newcastle, wasn't part of the takeover deal. It appears that the only facility that will come forth intact from the accomplishment is Middle's Chicago development studio, which responsible for the Mortal Kombat enfranchisement; every 100 employees at the studio have been offered jobs with WBIE.
Thereupon, the dismantling of the once-proud Midway is almost complete. News show surfaced earlier in the week that the Midway mar itself would exist dropped in favour of something trussed to the Warner Bros. cite and while company rep Geoff Mogilner tardive aforesaid those reports were "premature," information technology seems irrelevant at this point: Halfway, for all intents and purposes, no more exists.
